Mashriqi’s birth, death anniversaries on 25th, 27th
THE Khaksar Tehrik (KT) will observe 120th birth and 45th death anniversaries of its founder the late Allama Inayatullah Mashriqi on August 25 and 27 respectively.
According to a press release issued here on Friday, KT leader Hamiddudin Mashriqi instructed the party office-bearers to arrange seminars and conferences on the said days. Meanwhile, a conference on ‘role of parliament, establishment and judiciary in Pakistan’ will be held at main office of the party in Lahore.
Allama Mashriqi, who passed away in 1963, was undoubtedly a giant figure of his time. Reportedly a top-notch mathematician who got a distinction in masters from the Punjab University masters at the age of 19 and later from the Oxford and Cambridge universities in 1910, Mashriqi declined offers of ambassadorship to Afghanistan and later of knighthood during the British government at age of 32. He had earlier served as principal Islamia College, Peshawar, and under secretary to the Government of India in Education department. Later, he entered the political arena and founded the Khaksar Movement in 1930. He remained a controversial figure being dubbed an anarchist and revolutionary by opponents and a reformer and visionary by the supporters. His revolutionary ambitions could not reconcile him with the Muslim League’s political ideology but his services were acknowledged by many.
The Khaksar Movement gained momentum in 1930’s and 1940’s as a growing number of its spade-bearing followers marched around the streets in khaki uniforms...Following partition, Mashriqi faced five prison terms in different regimes on various charges. Mashriqi had breathed his last on August 27, 1963 in Lahore.

"Pakistan needs another Allama Mashriqi. Dr. Sabiha Mughal
LARKANA: August 27, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Nation needs another dauntless leader like Allama Innayatullah Khan Al-Mashriqi, who devoted his whole life and sacrificed all the assets and family for the services of Indo-Pak Muslims. This was said by the Sindh Balochistan Nazima Khaksar Tehreek Dr. Sabiha Arshad Mughal at the “Allama Mashriqi Conference” on his 46th death anniversary on Thursday.
She further said that the present rulers have completely failed to safeguard the rights of 170 million people of country and also failed to protect in the sovereignty and integrity of country she said.
She said the Pakistan has desperately need to choose the leaders like Allama Mashriqi and follow the principles of Khaksar Tehreek to spread in all over the country for the rendering true services for nation. She said after the death of Qaid-e-Azam all the leaders were counterfeited coins in his pocket and they had not any more quality to rule on the hearts of people.
Dr. Sabiha told that third generation of those leaders were still ruling on us and feudal lords, beaurocrats, Industrialists and military dictators were looting the wealth of country for 63 years. She said 5 percent elite class is ruling on 95 percent middle and lower class of country, added that the 95 percent masses is facing hardships, poverty, unemployment, starvation, lawlessness and artificial crises created by the rulers of Pakistan she said.
She said the Khaksar Tehreek has complete resolution of all the problems according to the political formula of Allama Mashriqi, which is a class wise election.
She said the masses needs to rule on country not fight for bread struggle as they are in majority." (http://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/headlinenewsd.php?hnewsid=1380)
